DescriptionThe Stand Visualization System, or SVS software, developed by Forsys, a cooperative between USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station and University of Washington, generates "graphic images depicting stand conditions represented by a list of individual stand components" such as trees, shrubs, and down material. The software can be downloaded from the site in a DOS version (not being updated) or a Windows 95, 97, NT version. Systems requirements information is provided.
