DescriptionThis project aims to record the biodiversity of El Salvador in Central America, a country where 80 percent of forest cover is natural, or cultivated, shade cover for coffee. In addition to describing the project, the site provides relevant background information and some results, such as lists of recorded tree and fern species and of pimpline wasps. The project is a collaboration between various Salvadoran institutions and The Natural History Museum in London. It is part of the UKGoverment's Darwin Initiative.
